My Personal Brand: Ken's Study

Ken's Study is the brand name of Ken Deng's public resources about study strategy and tips, which is part of Ken Deng. Ken's Study Journey is its main brand, together with Ken's Study Planner, Ken's Study Newsletter, etc. Ken Den, Ken's Study Journey, Ken's Study Planner and his relevant brands use the same logo.

Since macOS Big Sur in 2020 along with iOS, Apple regulated the shape of app icons, so I made my 2021 logo suitable for it.

Recently, my personal logo has now become a trademark in China, as registered by my parents and their company. You can use my logo for sharing and recommending purposes. However, you cannot imitate my personal website and Ken's Study Journey website according to my Terms of Service (Article 16).

Meanings of my Logo

My logos have multiple meanings, they are based on my name "Ken Deng" and my hobby (e. g. HTML, Mathematics).

My full name is Ken Deng, so my logo can be "Ken D", my first letter of my first name and last name. K and D are made as HTML tag < and >. They are my favourite colours violet. They look like arrows which mean higher score and lower score.

The green line means the separator between higher score and lower score. It also can be arrows to success and failure. Better scores are the success and worse scores are the failure.

My new logo has two blue congruent right triangles and it is both axis of symmetry and central symmetry. It means I enjoy mathematics. The blue triangles also mean the score will be changed faster and faster.

In addition, the top-left corner part looks like a light, the green bar at the centre looks like a pen, and the bottom-right corner part looks like a book. So, it can be seen as a studying environment and it means we can study effectively.

My 2021 logo changed for a little bit from my logo in 2020. The 2 light blue right triangles are darkened, enlarged and put into the right position. So, my 2021 logo can be seen clearly and it can emphasize the importance of studying.

The 2021 logo will be continuously used in 2022. No changes were made on the logo itself.

I have also discovered another meaning of the logos at the start of 2022. It can be imagined as a box with 2 arrows facing outwards. So, we can think about the things extensively and out of the box while studying.

Download and Use my Logos

You can download my logos and use personally without my permission. For example, you can use it on your website or YouTube channel for some specific purposes, such as recommended my website to others.

You are not allowed to sell my logos (free things) without my permission, according to my Terms of Service.

Please follow the following guidelines in order to better promote my brand and avoid misleading. Read it carefully before downloading and using my logos.

Ken Deng Logo Guidelines

You can

Use either or both English and/or Chinese brand names beside my logo.
Use the logo separately without names.
Print the logo using only black and white.
Rotate the logo.
Place the logo in a shallow background colour, with at least 0.8cm spaces between other elements.
Place the brand names at the right or bottom of my logo.

You cannot

Stretch or crop the logo (background and borders excepted).
Change the colours in the logo.
Place the logo in a deep background colour.
Use my logo with another brand name (Other than Ken, Ken Deng, Ken's Study * ).

How to Download?

On Windows computers, click the picture. Press Ctrl+S key if the picture didn't download.
On MacOS computers, click the picture. Press command+S key if the picture didn't download.
On phones and tablets, long press the picture to save.
You also can right click a picture and save/copy it on your computer.

My logos have multiple meanings, they are based on my name "Ken Deng" and my hobby (e.g. HTML, Internet).

My full name is Ken Deng, so my logo can be "Ken D", my full first name and the first letter of my last name. K and D are made as HTML tag < and />.

The content in the HTML tag is the lowercase letters "en", it is from my first name except for the first letter K. It can be expanded as English, Enable, Engineer(ing), Engage, Ensure, etc. They can be connected to a sentence: I love English, I want to be an engineer and enable computer engineering world, engage myself to be successful and ensure my programs are safe and useful for everyone.

It also looks like an Internet Explorer logo, the orange line changed to a tunnel, it also means I like Internet (webpage) programming, the tunnel means I want to be successful for webpage programming.
